Massive Dev Chart Timer - User Guide
How to Change the Settings
Sync My Times using iCloud/Dropbox: Turn cloud sync on or off. iCloud is automatically enabled for iOS users. Dropbox is available for Android users by registering a Dropbox account at Dropbox.com and then installing the Dropbox app on your device. Enable Dropbox sync by granting permission for Dropbox to access the app when prompted. For troubleshooting, please see the FAQ.
Temperature Scale: Select Celsius (°C) or Farenheit (°F)
Volume Scale: Select milliliters (ml) or US fluid ounces (fl oz)
Countdown Timer: Enable this setting if you prefer the timer to countdown rather than show the elapsed time.
Brightness Warning: Turn off to disable the popup warnings. Be sure you have read the warning and understand how to use the red and green safelight modes before disabling.
Animate Timer: Uncheck this box if you want to disable the rotating tank image during agitation.
Alarm Sound: Select from Traditional Alarm (bell sound) or Digital Alarm (beeping). This is the sound which plays at the end of each phase.
Silent Mode: Check this box if you want to disable all sounds. Use with caution as you must relay on watching the timer with no audio feedback.
Autostart Timer: Turn on if you want the timer steps to run automatically without user intervention. This feature is particularly useful if you are developing in complete darkness as you do not need to press any buttons once the timer has started
Interval Delay: Set the number of seconds (10-300) the timer will wait between steps. The Autostart Timer setting must be enabled for the delay to take effect. The Interval Delay will be applied to all steps.
Volume: Set the volume you most commonly use. For example, if you are using a Paterson Univeral tank and usually develop a single roll of 120 film, you would set this to the tank capacity of 500ml.
Stop Bath: Set a default time for Stop Bath.
Fixing A: Set a default time for Fixing.
Fixing B: If you use a two-bath fixing technique, set a default time for the second Fixer bath. Otherwise, set it to zero.
Hypo Clear: Set a default time for use with a hypo clearing agent (eg. Permawash, Kodak Hypo Clear). If you do not use any type of fixer remover you should set this to zero to eliminate the step.
Final Wash: Set your default Final Wash time.
Rinse Aid: Set a short time for addition of a Rinse Aid or Wetting Agent (eg. Photo Flo).
Initially: Set the default length of the initial agitation period, normally 30 secs or 60 secs.
Afterwards: Set the default length of subsequent agitation periods, normally 5 secs or 10 secs.
Repeat Every: Set the default frequency of each agitation sequence, normally every 30 secs or 60 secs.
