Fixer for Pyrocat-HD

Post by Blix »

I`m just about to buy some Pyrocat-HD, and I vaugely remember I read somewhere you need a special type of fixer for Pyro. Does this apply to the Pyrocat HD too?
I usually use Agfa Agefix....

We recommend either Formulary Fixer 24 (powder) or TF-4 (liquid), both of which can be found on this page:

Agefix is more or less an acid fix. For getting max. staining effect you need an alkaline or neutral fix, e.g. ATS fix from Moersch or X89 from Amaloco (Neutral). It's also recommended with the Tanol developer from Moersch.
